You're here in London, so do you find English girls sexy?
I love the accent. Kate Beckinsale is my favourite Brit, but she's taken! She's got an air of sophistication about her that's so attractive.
You're not bad yourself. Is it annoying when girls go nuts over you?
I don't mind. Brits are more respectful than American girls, who can be really intrusive. I've ?had boobs flashed in my face a few times. Another time a girl tried to give me her underwear, but I politely declined.
Is it true that you broke up with your ex, singer Carrie Underwood, by text message?
It was mutual. There's a lot more to it than that. The gossip magazines try to compartmentalise it by saying it was as simple as a text message - trust me it wasn't that simple.
What's the worst way you've ever dumped someone?
When I was at high school I wrote a note and left it under my girlfriend's windscreen wiper. I felt like I could get everything out verbally that way. I was only 14. I'll never do that again.
Your girlfriend was driving when you were 14? You must like older women then?
She was 15 and had a learner's permit so was only one year older. But yes, I've dated older women. They seem to have it a little more together than younger girls.
When was your first kiss?
When I was 10. It was my best friend's twin sister. We were on a summer camp and every other guy had a girlfriend apart from me, so we got together. I was a bit of an awkward kisser, but she ended up being my first girlfriend, so I can't have been that bad!
Did you ever rebel as a boy?
I went to juvenile detention when I was 15. It was all over a little misunderstanding with a pellet gun! I accidentally hit somebody on a golf course so I went to the centre for the weekend. At the time my parents went ballistic, but it's a joke now.
Naughty boy! Have you ever been tempted to steal someone's girl?
There's always that temptation, but I've never been in a 'we just couldn't help ourselves' situation. The girlfriend of a good friend is definitely off limits!
There's been gossip that you had a gay affair with your co-star Ed Westwick, who plays Chuck Bass. Was it true?
No. It blows my mind that there's some cultural fascination trying to out people. It's hilarious.
But if it was life or death, which male celebrity would you snog?
If you were holding a gun to me? I would run away.

No. I like to keep my chest hair. I keep things clean, I trim my fingernails and am very hygienic.
Do you want to change anything about yourself?
I'm always on my phone, always texting. I wish I could switch off more and have more time to myself.

Last March, when my grandfather Herman passed away.
Do you ever say the 'L' word?
It depends on the girl - there haven't been too many though. I'm not looking to fall in love and I don't have a type, I just look for instant attraction. I'm 23 and living in Manhattan so, believe me, I'm very much having fun being single.
